Connectivity in Ecuador continues to be reactivated, with new routes and frequencies that will start their flights in the coming days.
March 28, 2022 will be the inauguration of the new Quito – San José (Costa Rica) direct route, with three (3) weekly frequencies, operated by Avianca, which becomes the company’s fifth direct international route, adding to Bogota, Lima, New York and El Salvador.
While on April 1, 2022, Jet Blue resumes the operation of its route from Fort Lauderdale to Quito, with daily frequencies (7 weekly) that will boost connectivity to and from that North American destination. The airline also flies from Guayaquil to Fort Lauderdale and New York, directly, with seven (7) weekly frequencies with each city.
Likewise, Latam begins to operate on April 1, 2022 its direct flights between Quito and Bogotá, with five (5) weekly frequencies, adding to the routes it maintains with Lima and Santiago de Chile.
These operations are the result of joint work between the public and private sectors, for the benefit of Ecuador, promoting connectivity and the development of the country.
